Michael Marcus is a seasoned, creative, marketing professional, who has consistently delivered “turnkey” celebrity-leveraged special events, promotional programs and fundraising campaigns.
Michael has produced network (CBS, NBC, and ESPN) televised sports events, which have featured sponsorships with companies including Volvo, Pepsi, 20th Century Fox, American Airlines, Sprint, BP, and Anthem Blue Cross.
For over 15-years, Michael created and executed events for the Kennedy/Shriver family’s Best Buddies International charity, where the annual budget grew from approximately $6,000,000 to $22,000,000 during Michael’s tenure.
Michael’s work in the non-profit sector continues in a consulting capacity to Thank Israeli Soldiers, a Jerusalem based organization that provides gratitude and educational support for IDF soldiers. Michael assists the organization with development and brand awareness activities in the United States.
Michael also currently serves in an advisory capacity to Tom Torlakson, California Superintendent of Public Education and his Team California for Healthy Kids initiative, launched to positively impact the state’s 6.2 million public school students.
